How you can learn more about the implications of the new General Data Protection Regulations

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into force in May 2018 and veterinary practices need to begin to prepare for the new legislation now.

Throughout September & through to November, Connected Vet ran free webinars that focused on the implications of the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) for veterinary practices.

In the webinars we looked at;

  1. The structure of the legislation, the key elements of GDPR that practice owners and managers need to understand
  2. How vets can secure data to comply with the new regulations
  3. Methods for gaining the legal consent you will need to process the data of staff, communicate with clients and engage with suppliers

The webinars concluded by running through a simple to-do list that outlined the steps practice owners and managers will need to take to become GDPR compliant by the May 2018 deadline.
